Alejandro’s Mexican Food

10″ veggie burrito $7.50

Alejandro’s was recommended to me by a friend on Instagram. We decided to check it out for lunch, and used Google Maps to find it. It’s located amongst the houses of Kalihi Valley. When we pulled up, there were a few parking spaces open right in front of the eatery.  There were customers eating and waiting for their food, but we did not have to wait in line to order. Our food came out fairly quickly, and we got it to-go, and ate it at home.

I ordered the 10″ veggie burrito which was filled with pinto beans, Mexican rice, tomato, onion, and cilantro. It was yummy, and I kind of wished I had gotten the 12″ version.

My date got a taco combination plate, which he said was lightly seasoned. He liked the plentiful onions and cilantro inside the tacos.

Overall, it was a great place to grab a quick bite to eat. I would go back and get the larger 12″ veggie burrito or maybe the veggie bowl. I’d also like to try their horchata, which was sold out today. I’d recommend it if you’re a fan of onions and cilantro!
