Choco Le’a

Do you have a go-to place for gifts? I discovered Choco le’a 2 Christmases ago, when I needed some gifts for co-workers and clients. Located in Mānoa, this locally-owned shop met all of my gift-giving needs. When I needed some congratulatory and thank you gifts this week, I stopped in for more delicious sweets.

Salted Caramel is their most popular truffle flavor

You can custom make your own 2, 4, 9, or 18 piece box of truffles. They also have their Signature or Island Inspired Truffle Boxes which feature some of their most popular flavors.

9 piece gold luster Dom Perignon Champagne truffles $26.99
9 piece Fresh Mochi truffles $22.99

One of the reasons I like coming to Choco le’a for gifts is that they offer special flavors. I came during their 4th anniversary celebration week, and they had their 9 piece Dom Perignon Champagne and Fresh Mochi truffles available.

If you follow them on Instagram, you’ll see that they offer limited, specialty flavors throughout the year. In the past, they’ve had Yamazaki Whisky and Hawaiian Pie Company’s apple pie truffles. Can you imagine giving that to someone who loves Japanese whisky or pie?!

4th Birthday Box $23.99

Their 4th Birthday Box which includes Rocky Road, Strawberry Almond, Black Sesame Matcha, Maple White Chocolate, and Pistachio Cherry flavors is available through October. It is equal parts delicious and beautiful.

Milk Chocolate Mac Nut Clusters and Dark Chocolate Dipped Pineapple Bags $4.99
Dark Chocolate Dipped Pineapple
Chocolate-Covered Mint Oreos $3.49

The second reason I like purchasing gifts from Choco le’a is that they have items at different price points. If you have several people to buy for, you can get small gifts like their bags of chocolate dipped fruit (pineapple, mango, or jabong), macadamia nut clusters, or individually wrapped chocolate-covered oreos.

The third reason that I recommend gifts from Choco le’a is the beautiful packaging. The design of their boxes and packaging details are perfect. Pictured above are their famous Melts.

Choco le’a Cooler Bag $4.99

The last reason I like buying gifts at Choco le’a is they are a locally owned company that sources some of their chocolate from right here in Hawaii. If supporting local businesses is important to you, and you like high quality, delicious chocolate, definitely make your way to Mānoa and check them out! fullsizeoutput_b3cfullsizeoutput_b31
