In Hawai’i, there are only a few signs of fall. It might get a little cooler and a bit more rainy, but folks are typically still in shorts and slippers, making their way to the beach. Our signs are more about kids going back to school (in-person and now virtually), talk about Halloween festivities, and pumpkin products coming back to stores.
In this post, I’m sharing 3 products from Whole Foods that every pumpkin lover must try.

At the top of my list are these pumpkin pie ice cream sandwiches. If you look forward to pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving and love ice cream, this dessert is for you. It doesn’t have the strong spice that pumpkin pie can have, but it’s a sweet, creamy take on the pumpkin flavor.

My cousin tried them and said they were “life-changing.” I promise, you won’t regret trying these!

Now if you’re more of a cheesecake fan, I highly recommend these limited edition cookies. The centers taste like mini pumpkin cheesecakes.

Don’t forget the milk! These are a perfect afternoon treat or small dessert, if you’re looking for a little pumpkin pick-me-up.

Admitedly, I had a slightly hard time with this pancake and waffle mix. I’m used to pancake mixes with one other add-in ingredient. This one involved adding an egg, butter, and milk. I was 1/4 cup shy of regular milk, so I added in my oatmilk to even it out. I also felt like I may have put too much butter, as these didn’t come out nice and fluffy.

As for the taste, they were actually still pretty delicious with a hint of pumpkin flavor. I did top it with Torani Pumpkin Sauce and pumpkin pie spice, which added a bit more pumpkin-ness to it. The recipe on the box makes 12-14 pancakes, so maybe make it for a Sunday family breakfast.

Tell me your favorite pumpkin treats in the comments below, and let me know if you’ve tried any of these items from Whole Foods. Happy Fall!
