If you’re looking for a brunch spot in Honolulu, I highly recommend Waioli Kitchen and Bake Shop in Manoa. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the food was yummy. You walk up to the counter to place your order and pay, you find an open table, and they bring your food out to you. Here was the delicious food that we ordered and enjoyed for Sunday brunch.
There was a pretty case of baked goods, including croissants, scones, and cookies. On this occasion, we tried the blueberry cream cheese scone, and it was a great texture with a good amount of blueberries. I would definitely like to go back and try more baked goods. I also saw fresh loaves of bread on their IG feed. They were sold out when we were there, but I’d like to get my hands on one of those, too!
They had some cute merchandise for sale, including mochi waffle mix and mugs.
The decor and environment felt the same as the old Waioli Tea Room. Right now, tables are spaced for social distancing and although it was fairly busy when we arrived at 10:30 on a Sunday, there were quite a few open tables at 12:00. It would be a great place to grab coffee and enjoy one of their delicious baked items.
